Journey into the beyond-21

We all reached to the place where Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba told his disciples to  go in Rishikesh. They found a very big Ashram there. Many monks and nun were busy in doing certain activities. In the centre there was a shrine which was dedicated to Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba. The shrine was built two hundred years ago. Below the statue of Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba, his life period was mentioned. According to that he died around two hundred and twenty years ago. we thought there might be some mistake in engravements as we had seen him alive in pushkar. He taught us meditation and yoga.
we asked one of the Ashramites about it, he told us that Paramhamsa Baba got his mahasamadhi two hundred and twenty years ago.
we all were stunned to know this. Immediately, we met the head of the ashram and told him the whole story. Initially, he could not believe but when we shared what he taught us he had to accept that we are saying a truth.

Journey into the beyond-5

Every enlightened person has his or her own teaching. A new path to enlightenment happens whenever one gets enlightenment. these paths are not altogether different, the have something common.

Journey into the beyond-4

There are millions of ways to get Enlightenment. Many scriptures also have stepwise procedures to self-realisation, but all these scriptures can not guide you till you are guided by a competent Guru. All scriptures, vedas, and even Gita must be learned under Guru's Guidance. Without Guru, None can get Enlightenment.
Nachiketa, a thief, asked him-"what is mind?" we are under bondage owing to mind only. you are not mind. mind is nothing but s space where our thought-waves generate.

Journey into the beyond-2

Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba, finally opened his eyes. His eyes were sparkling, big, and attractive. He saw twelve person before him. They all did paranam to him and asked his name. He did not replied anything. one another person came there. He said, pointing to Paramhansa Bairgi Baba, he is my Guru Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba. I am his disciple Subodh Chaitanya. He said, it is quite normal for him to remain in smadhi for three days sometimes he remains in Samadhi for weeks too. And after Samadhi, he remains quite for  a day. he does not speak to anyone. You people really have the grace of God. otherwise, it is very rare to see such an enlightened person in one's whole life.
The next day, the king asked to Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba-are you the Guru? he said, no guru ever said I am a Guru. Only when disciple comes to a person he becomes a guru. it is not a Guru  he decides to become a Guru. It is the disciple who discovers the Guru. If you think I am A Guru then I can be your guru. when one meets his Guru, he immediately realizes that he has met his guru. If one really meets his Guru, his searching for other spiritual guru ends.
this statement shows his egolessness.
One young boy Nirmal asked can you tell me how to get enlightenment? how did you get enlightenment? what is mind? who am I?

Jouney into the beyond- 1

Pushkar is one of the oldest holy cities of India. We find its reference even in our great epics(Ramayana and Mahabharata). It is located in the north-west of Ajmer district around 14 miles away  from it. Ajmer is a pilgrimage for Muslims too.
This is a story that took place around Seven hundred years ago. It was Karthik purnima day (A full moon day, generally happens in Oct-Nov). Thousands of Pilgrims congregated to take a bath in the holy lake of Pushkar. Some pilgrims had come from nearby cities and hamlets and some pilgrims were from distant places. people from almost all milieu were there.
Every year people used to gather in the Pushkar on the same day since time immemorial. But, why I am writing about the incident that happened seven hundred years ago in the Pushkar lake because something bizarre happened that year.
Paramhamsa Bairagi Baba, an enlightened person of that time also came to Pushkar. After a day or so from karthik purnima , He went to Nag Parvat (means Snake Mountain), a mountain that separates Pushkar town from Ajmer. A king, along with a troop decided to go up on Nag parvat just to see a Hanuman temple on its pinnacle. The king happened to see Paramhansa Bairagi Baba there. Bairagi Baba was in deep Samadhi. His face was exceptionally luminous. The king was so fascinated by him that he said his troop to go back to their kingdom. I would come in a month or so. He had been waiting for three days, but Bairagi Baba did not open his eyes. Soon he got popularity. Twelve Pilgrims decided not to go back to their homes. They wanted to see the unseen. they wanted self-Realisation.
